What happens after I place an order?

Within 24 hours of placing your order, be prepared to receive an email inviting you to a design round-table with one of our designers. If you’re in the Pittsburgh area, this may be an in person meeting if you wish (subject to availability) or otherwise will be a call or video chat - whichever you prefer!

You’ll also find your homework attached to the email. We've created a powerful set of easy-to-answer questions to help us quickly understand who your audience is, the tone of your business, and the heart of your brand. We’ll go over what you want, what you don’t want and your preferences, styles, and expectations.

Then we’ll get to work! The rest of the process depends on what you’ve purchased. We’ll send over a detailed project timeline after your round-table so you know what to expect and when.

Do you have payment plans?

Yes, we do! In order to get on a payment plan for the items you’d like, just contact us at info@onstartmedia.com or use the form on our contact page. We’ll set up affordable payments according to the milestones of your project. It’s as easy as that!

Will I have a say in the design process?

Absolutely! Our goal is to help bring YOUR brand to life and we can’t do that without your input. If there are other sites, logos, or brands with a design style that you would like to emulate, we can do that too. If you have a logo or existing brand that you’d like us to work around, that’s no problem either. We’ll be sure your new site is consistent with your overall brand and mission.

Who has rights and ownership to these designs?

All designs and services provided by us will be for your exclusive use. Once designs are finalized, you’ll gain full transferable rights to brand identity and full license to reproduce the works through commercial printers.

When we use outside vendors such as web development, photography, and illustration, any third-party material will be provided to you with full reproduction rights as well. We’ll be able to photograph any of the designs/materials produced for our promotional purposes.

What if I have to give you confidential information or material in order to make my site?

Just inform us in writing before your project commences if any portion of any material, information, or project is confidential.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel any time before we start working on your project for a full refund minus processing fees. A cancellation fee for any work already completed will be paid based on the stage of project completion. The remaining cost will be returned to you minus processing fees.
